The ‘A Stitch in Time’ embroideries were researched, imagined, drawn, digitised and embroidered by Monika Schwarz.
Monika currently works as data analyst and visualisation specialist at SensiLab, Monash University. She has degrees in archaeology and IT, and spends her private time making her own wardrobe.
The ‘A Stitch in Time’ project was created with the help of a Whyte Fund grant at Monash University. Chief Investigators of the project are Jon McCormack at SensiLab, Monash University, and Hamish Maxwell-Stewart, History, UNE.
